‍hTFRC expression on erythrocytes

Staining on freshly isolated bone marrow cells and on whole blood from WT and genO-hTFRC/hSA/hFcRn mice. Gating on single live TER119+ cells.

Human transferrin is efficiently internalized in splenocytes from genO-hTFRC/hSA/hFcRn

Splenocytes from WT and genO-hTFRC/hSA/hFcRn mice were stimulated with labeled pHrodo Red Transferrin conjugate at 25μL/mL for 2 hours at 37°C. Specificity of transferrin endocytosis was tested by pre-stimulating cells with recombinant human transferrin (25μg/mL) for 20 minutes at 4°C.

Human transferrin cross-reacts with mTFRC with the same affinity (Ill et al., In Vitro Cellular & Dev. Biol., 1988).

2way ANOVA test, *** p<0,001 vs pHrodo Tf.
